I hadn't noticed but will check.

FWIW I hate these weather plays, one good rain storm and the trade unravels. Afterall as late as of the end of last week they were talking about record crops. Also I thought the drought was more in the Northeast?

ADM is probably a good way of playing it. Personally I don't like the company. And not just because of the price fixing. They are a big time contributor to both parties and the taxpayer is paying the ag subsidies to prove it.

Paul, Re: grains and beans.

I have also been following the soft asset prices. We have land in North Dakota and the crop is going to be a disaster in the middle of the Red River Valley. This is not the worlds crop, but significant as far as durum wheat is concerned. The only qualification would be if Russia has a bumper crop and can get it to market.

I am playing this with ADM, but have not paired it with a hedge at this point. My choices for hedge pairs are ADM, IMC, IBC and MWGB. I am doing research to see just how best to pair the stocks.

I am also looking for better ideas than the ones I have at the moment.
