MANCHESTER GAS STORAGE FACILITY TO BETTER SERVE ITS CUSTOMERS IN KANSAS and

ENERGY today announced that it has signed agreements with Anadarko
Energy Services Company and Manchester Gas Storage Facility to combine
the strengths and expertise of each company to create additional value
for the end-use customers of MOUNTAIN ENERGY.

Mike Eichenberg, President of MOUNTAIN ENERGY, said, "These agreements
will bring unparalleled strength, flexibility and reliability to meet
our customers' needs as well as position MOUNTAIN ENERGY as a market
leader in Kansas and Missouri."

Based in Overland Park, Kansas, MOUNTAIN ENERGY is the largest and
oldest independent natural gas marketing firm in the area. MOUNTAIN
ENERGY serves over 600 small and medium-sized industrial and commercial
end users in Kansas and Missouri. The company concentrates its efforts
primarily on the Kansas Gas Services and Williams Gas Pipeline systems.

Eichenberg also announced today that MOUNTAIN ENERGY has entered intoan
agreement to act as agent for the sales and management of capacity
forthe Manchester Gas Storage Facility. Located in Grant County,
Oklahoma, the Manchester facility has more than 12 billion cubic feet
of storage capacity and substantial deliverability into the Williams
(over 100 million cubicfeet per day) and Oklahoma Natural Gas (over 30
million cubic feet per day)systems.

additional flexibility to our inventory control and provide access to
supply and deliverability during times of critical temperature
