Yea, what's going on? Am I missing some posts, or what? I can see that SFAM is falling down, but I don't know why. What's the news?

Thanks,
John

I sold on the previous pop and never looked back. These
guys took their eye off the ball when they should have
been more diligent than ever. What a meltdown.

re: Should've sold at 17 recently.

Yeah, me too, twice! but I am terrible at getting out near a top. I actually gave it some serious thought the last time which is new for me! 8)

Glad most of my $ for the sector is in AMAT and LRCX (I would add UTEK, but that got left behind as the others have been multi baggers.)

We might ask "what are the odds of SFAM going to $20 vs a doubling in LRCX?" and that might explain the hasty exit today.

To me, the long term questions are "Will the need for CMP tools trickle down to this company?" and "Can they take market share with niche products, performance or better customer service?".

It seems that the answer could be yes if the semi cycle recovery is going to be many years and AMAT and LRCX can't hire and ship fast enough.

WHat do you think?

Besides, portfolios are boring if all the stock in them are winners!
