SSP: Hi I have been following Golden Lists for a couple of weeks and I thought you might want to take a look at this gem mining company I have been following on Vancouver for over a year. (I know the word 'mining' is pretty scary right now but it also spells opportunity in many instances) According to company IR (therefore I would qualify this as rumour)they are launching their product (Red Berylium/Red Emerald) in the fall. This would certainly be suited for the rumour list pending confirmation of a date, but an impact date of Sept/Oct is likely. This stock is extremely tightly held. The product is exotic and the company has a monopoly on the worlds only economic deposit of Red Emerald. The website is www.nearyresources.com and most of the information you need for preliminary DD can be found (feasibility study, financial, NR's...) IR can be reached @ 1-877-684-4414. At this point in time IMO the major announcements that will move this stock are: 1. announcement of issuance of the large scale mining permit 2. announcement of initial sale of Red Emeralds 3. announcement of commencement of fall marketing initiative.... Item 1. which could happen any time prior to late Aug. may not in itself move this stock but any combination of these events should get it through 1.25-1.35 short term and possibly well beyond. For reference and some history visit the Neary thread on SI (It is quiet but I think you will find the archeology fruitful/of particular interest some of the valuation numbers composed by Hugh Thorne) I would appreciate your thoughts as you are obviously an extremely seasoned and savvy investor. BTW The stones sell for an average of $2500 US per carat. Some have fetched as much as $40,000 US per carat. I am the farthest thing from a geologist or a competent stock analyst but I truly believe I am on to something here. I suspect that if you are not immediately interested when you investigate this that you will at least move it to a watch list.
