As I recall, Samsung (Korea) has a license for FRAM from Ramtron which means they will be paying a royalty to Ramtron.

Unlike other FRAM licenses, Ramtron does not have a call on production, which means they can not buy Samsung FRAM at a preferred rate and resale to their clients. As such, don't expect a large revenue stream coming into Ramtron from Samsung. Look at the royalties from Rohm and you'll see what I mean.

Another reason why the idiots at the top should have their butts kicked.

What we have is a good-ole-boy network where nobody holds anybody accountable for anything.

BTW, now that Ramtron has given up control of Racom, I'd like to know who owns Racom's licenses on RFID technology. That was the only thing of value in Racom and to flip Racom for $170,000 #reply-10479821 suggests they were selling a shell but these guys are capable anything.

I say, take their IQs and multiply it by $1,000 and that's their salary. Taking some creative measures like this will go a long way in making Ramtron profitable... but "profitable" is a word not in their lexicon.
