Linden, UAI and USIS both appear to be badly overvalued, and they are related in at least two ways.

First, UAI is trying to sell its IFHC subsidiary to USIS for only $3 M.

Second, somebody on the Yahoo thread reported that USIS CEO Dave Norris is returning calls to investors who are attempting to call UAI CEO Marc Sparks. If this is true, it suggests a relationship between UAI and USIS that is not healthy.

David L. Norris, CEO of USIS: he appears to be an officer of several other companies according to SEC filings:

Specialty Management Group Inc.
American Eco Corp. (ECGO)
INDEPENDENT RESEARCH AGENCY FOR LIFE INSURANCE INC
CITADEL ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD

Filings indicate he joined ECGO May 1, 1997. He is a senior VP. This is a Canadian industrial company traded on Nasdaq, with a market cap of $36 M. Look at the chart for this stock to see how it has fallen since he joined:
