Qualcomm just lost their contract with canadian based ClearNet because their cell phones kept breaking down. Mine broke down 5 times since Feb/99. I just picked up the Nokia from the same company, clearNet, and they let me keep the Qualcomm cell. They confirmed it was crap and told me to trash it. I feel like shorting Qualcomm now. I think they will go bankrupt making sub-par products.

next stop 148?, then 143?... support at 153 broken?
agree with you MMike, correction coming to market, techs, computers, and even telecom and QCOM... expect hit to telecom might not be severe

October calls in midAugust might look yummy

all the cash the gorilla stole from the prepared banquet for S&P funds will ensure huge profits way beyond the $4/sh mark for fy2k set by analysts... would prefer that Q mgmt sell 2 million shares every 4-5 months on short notice, BUT BE HONEST AND ABOVE BOARD ABOUT IT!!!... no problem with securing fresh capital... that is what we are here for... they will turn that $1b into stronger profits

got out of my August calls with less than recently showed on screen... but have done well riding this alpha gorilla since April

expect little recoveries after three downlegs... magic number is three and 3/8-ths retracements

/ jim
