I'm looking for full Mac compatibility, same as PC compatibility.
In lieu of that, I'll settle for being able to use a machine as a full function, stand alone fax with the option to serve as a Mac printer. In this case, I could purchase any of several MFPs (eg Canon Multipass C5500) and use Infowave USB (did I get the name right?)software for printing. Important to me are at least 600 X 600 dpi bw & color printing & scanning resolution. From my limited understanding of the product literature, it does not seem that the Infowave software will enable me to import scanned files into the Mac, though I'm not clear at all on this subject. I'm in the market for an MFP for my wife & I plan to add an iMac to it a little down the road.
Thanks
Dan
