They will be distributing Belly Puddle's music both physically as well as digitally over the Internet. Belly Puddle, claimed by MP3 .com's founder Michael Robertson to be his favorite band, made the move on the day MP3 .com made their IPO. The deal between Belly Puddle and SpinRecords.com demonstrates how artists are making critical decisions about the success of their music in the super-heated digital music industry.
