And I am glad, chaz. I have great respect for Lindy as I do Maurice and Gregg and the "its a nice day" guy as well as many others too numerous to mention.

I have read these posts almost religiously for more than two years and am still mighty long QCOM because of what I have read over and over here. Any time that I have been tempted to sell, I have come here, have read and reread the posts and have gone away glad. And I have continued to hold and to buy more. Like Lindy, I am (almost) 100% in QCOM although I still hold quite a few shares in another looming gorilla whose designation is GMST. (This last sentence is not a spam).

My notes to Lindy have attempted humor although I guess they come across as serious.

I am of the opinion that all contributions to this thread have some value. As Uncle Frank said on the Gorilla thread: Seek that kernal of truth in every posting. If you consider the fact that one bothers to post, then you must also consider the opinions of one who so bothers even if you don't entirely agree or appreciate what is being said.

The QCOM longs continue to know that "its a nice day" and we all should remember to be glad.

Thanks for your kind attention.

PS: I just realized that this post is on the Gorilla Thread. I thought I was writing it on the QCOM thread. My apologies to all but what I said here is still valid both here and there. I am not trying to turn this thread into a QCOM slave thread. Sorry about my confusion. I'll try to pay better attention.

When novices to a thread indicate an interest and are chided into silence or flamed for their ignorance, the value of SI is lost to that person.

Agree. Also, I would add that the value of the person is lost to SI and its participants.

This thread has had little of that, in part due to Uncle Frank's reasoned supervision, example-setting, and excellent diplomatic skills. As our leader, shouldn't we call him King Richard?

Chaz, Re: Lindy's motives.

Excellent post. We all need Lindy's sage advice. This is an superb thread. May we continue on the high road here, never to deviate below as others have

Many have paid $100 annually to post here, ask questions, learn. Lindy is giving people their money's worth here. Be glad.

I'd pay a monthly fee to have the best five or so posts e-mailed to me. I hate having to wade through the Q folder, even at cable-modem speeds.
