AWRE is just moving with the NASD. Unless you think that Tzannes's mentioning of competition on the CC spooked some of the 13,000 investors in AWRE who thought they owned ADSL. Tim

You're kidding, right? This is a reliable source for "whisper numbers"?

My understanding of a "whisper number" is the number that Wall Street institutional investors really expect the company to earn during a given quarter. For example, the First Call estimate is 10 cents, but the company had better report 12 cents (the whisper number) or the quarter will be perceived as a disappointment.

So, how does that web site determine its "whisper number" for AWRE? How many analysts and portfolio managers and shareholders of AWRE did they survey to get the number 3 cents?
