Actully it is extremely valuable and EMI and Universal like the Technology very much. This is a huge issue for Music Distributers and they are serious. When the prosacutions go out it will be harsh.
Some will be made examples of...but the bottom line is that LQID will become a HUGE player in this space. If you don't see it then you really need to think about it. These companies are not got going to tolerate this anymore. Also don't forget these companies have huge support from Washington.
