OT bp, I believe there is room for one mega-retailer on the web, and it is shaping up to be amzn, not wmt. amzn loses money hand over fist not because they can't avoid it, but because they're investing in infrastructure to be the wotw (wallmart of the web). In the intermediate term going forward, the key is revenue growth. With books, cd's and videos locked up, and now positioned in toys and electronics, 4Q looks like dynamite. In the meantime, they hope to shore up 3Q with a stock split. ST, I have my doubts as to the effectiveness of the split strategy. LT, I'm a true believer in the company. With all these inets, it ultimately boils down to quality of management, and Bezos is among the best of the bunch.
