Thanks for sharing your experience. That's the way we all learn. Since your personal experience conflicts with other input, why not put the case to rest by providing us with the name and number of the shop where you purchased, together with any bits like the name of a sales person, the date of purchase, credit card used, etc. In a forum like this,it is sometimes difficult to sort out fact from fiction.
