Dunno if he was joking about the 3-5k but let me chime in here..

Alot of people think it requires big bucks to day trade and without big bucks you cant possibly succeed.. I think having big money only means you can lose alot if you fail at it. period.

Im a member on Anthonys service and let me tell you, im only playing with a few 10k spots. I spread it thin, a few hundred shares of each and just keep it moving. If you have 10k to invest, thats 20k in buying power, if you learn the game you can easily pull in a decent salary off that money.

...although what I consider a decent salary might be poverty level for you.. but by no means does having more money to invest guarantee success..

For what its worth, I think that people spend too much time and energy trying to speculate on which direction a stock will move and they overlook the most important thing- MONEY MANAGEMENT. Forget everything else until you learn the basics of money management.. Up until recently I overlooked this important tidbit and let me say that although I have incredible success day trading, it would always blow up in my face because of the lack of management skills..
