Scumbria, The arguments used against SDRAM by the anti-SDRAM crowd at the time were based on cost vs. performance as the articles indicate, and that's the same arguments we hear now against Rambus. In hindsight you can argue any number of positions, but in 1996, they were arguing cost/performance. As I mentioned to Burgoo, we'll know in 2 years whether the results match up or not. But in the meantime, everyone should know that the arguments are just being recycled. And that SDRAM came out the winner anyway. Dave
