ps - Where do you get your whisper numbers from? It sounded like you didn't know what the number was. My own whisper number? What good would that be (no one listens to me!). There is no 'official' whisper number, there is just the consensus of what investors think the company will earn in the quarter. The guys at this web page are just putting out their own estimate, it sounds like. From the web page "We also get information from analysts, but we also get information from other sources as well. We get information from analysts that is often less conservative than their official estimate; we get information that is more current than some of the analysts' official estimates; and we use our judgement in determining which number is more accurate rather than just averaging the numbers (though we do some averaging as well)." So their "whisper number" is just their own opinion what the company will actually earn. I wouldn't put too much stake in it. You sure are testy. You asked me a question and I answered it.
