OK, Zhang, I guess we're shifting the topic of conversation, huh? That's fine.

As to the transfer of technology, that's into the realm of opinion, and I'm an expert on my own opinions! Do you think the US should export technology with potential military value to: Iraq? N. Korea? Lybia? As an American, I'd say NO WAY. Then how about the PRC? Close ideological partners to the US, like Britian and Israel, are not threats or even potential threats as things appear today. The same can't be said for the PRC. And, so long as the PRC insists on it's seperatist association with other nations (from our point of view) there will continue to be a 'kid glove' treatment of them. The PRC wants to buy our technology? Well, I'd like to buy a few machine guns, but I can't. Just how things are, don't you think?
