Georgia State News For July 29 - Gunman Opens Fire In Office

(ATLANTA) -- A gunman opened fire in a third floor office building in Atlanta today. Police say there are "multiple victims". Several ambulances are on the scene and C-N-N says emergency rooms have been told to expect as many as 20 casualties. There is an UN-confirmed report that some of the victims were killed... as many as four. But an Atlanta Police Department spokesman says he has no immediate information as to whether the victims had been killed or only wounded. Scott Belazi, who works in the office where the shooting took place, told W-S-B-T-V that he saw a great quantity of blood in the office when police escorted him out as they evacuated the building. The shooting is in the leasing office of a building in Atlanta's Buckhead financial district. There's no immediate information on who had fired the shots or if there had been any arrest.
