Dear Paul: I thing the y2k thing real or not has become passe. It gets mentioned now and again and nobody pays any attention anymore. I think it would only cause a panic if in fact it becomes a reality which more and more it seems it wont. Have you noticed that nearly every company from your bank to your utility is sending you a note telling you all will be OK with them? I now think the OPPOSITE will happen,ie once we get past that arbitrary deadline the floodgates will open in software, hardware and all the supporting periphals of technology and 2,000 will be a very fine year indeed.
