Margin,

Fluctuation, yes; $130, am not sure.

Please don't forget one of the major advantages of issuing 6+ million shares for SP index funds is to have the stock price further stabilized. This would be accomplished both by the larger equity base and the relative inert trading characteristics of index funds. The offerings were not made to the mo-mo guys.

You are correct, it is volitle. All the better. Speaking of bets, could it be that you are as much or more of a gamester than I? Speculating on stocks isn't enough, you're running side bets too!:)

Side note: I bought LU 6 months after IPO. Sold 1 year later due to "gone too far too fast" and "can't go any higher" thinking. Lesson learned the hard way. The big picture always wins.

I agree, nothing is impossible.

That's a bit of a skewed bet. How about 171 before 131, and I'm in for a share (or $ equivalent thereof). Payable of course when and at whichever price it hits.

(even though I believe like you that we've got some summer doldrums in the Naz ahead of us!)

Agree 130s before 169. However, I bought more today at 149 and will buy more at 139, 129,...every 10 points down. I need to put 30k shares of Q under my bed. I can't get enought Q. This issue is the only DELL in the next 3 years. Won't sell before it hits 100 billion market cap. Nuts are flushed to the toilet, same fate as bio tech in the early 90s. Series of lower low and lower high. Those got in in April will probably break even in 3-5 years, and I am talking about the best ones.

marginmike: I am a recent investor in Q; I would like to avoid the urge to sell my shares, if indeed, the stock were to decline the 130's+/-, so I am considering selling some covered calls. Do you employ this strategy, and if so, any suggestions as to duration and strikes that might fit your view of coming decline?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards
James

139 is not a magic number. We have touched 146 today.
