The idea that XOMA disappears if the P III trial is not a success is in error. We will disappear, and only wish it had, rather than ourselves.

I don't want to belabor the point, as I proceed to do so, but BPI and LBP have had hundreds of research papers written about them. The interest in these proteins is not going to cease if it is found that BPI does not provide any significant advantage in curing Meningococcemia.
