All...just to set the matter straight....Our Dear King Richard (The Lion Heart) was responsible for the slaughter..(.read beheading) of...2700 Muslim men...women... and children in the City of Acre, Palestine at the opening of the 3rd Crusade....1191A.D........Richard violated an agreement made with Saladin...to release the prisoners in a hostage exchange...and for the return of a relic of the True Cross......Saladin...made the mistake of keeping his part of the bargain first.......just this last week....decendents of these Crusaders have offered apologies for such atrocities.....Tim
