Thanks, Craig. Be assured, there are many much more 'nimble' than myself! I continue to work on that, one of the most satisfying things is to be flat or short watching what I would have previously been in as a long! :) Going from a web brokerage to direct access, like MB Trading, makes it much easier to jet in and out, but there's a big psychological aspect to the nimble thing as well. Glad the posts are of value to you, I am in the midst of writing an article for TigerInvestor.com which discusses this - the use of different short-term stock trading styles (scalp, swing, position etc) and when to ride em, when to use a hair-trigger exit, scalp, etc. It's a work in process, as I'm still learning myself...

I am just amazed at the beating they are giving old AMZN.bomb... every time it trys to get up on the floor WHAM they knock it down again... RALLY is not currently in it's vocabulary!

As you might be seeing right now we have a big Sale on wallstreet today as worries over interest rates once again doom the markets.

This is profound in my opinion. Greenspan hinted today at no rise in rates for August and said that he would watch carefully for inflation. At this point even if he raises rates in August or at the following meeting, the markets have already priced that in, especially with today's action.

Buy on dips, the bull is alive and well. Traders get shaken in and out of the market and need to watch it carefully everyday. Being a long term investor should result in great if not better profits and sound sleep.

Peace,
Pierre
