One could only assume that logic would prevail. I have a feeling this isn't so in this case.
Majority of shorts ( only my speculation ) are brokerage houses on and around Howe St., and I would bet some Green Mrooka$ that smaller players such as retail investors ( shorts wannabes, big boys copycats ) covered shortly after the stock began to trade in January of 1998.
Boys on this particular and ohhhhh so famous around the World strip ( Las Vegas it ain't and no finger pointing needed for obvious reasons ) called Howe St. are known to have a lot of stoic patience and don't use the same rationale as you or I.
They can afford to take chances.
All we need is GLB coming back to the negotiation table or progress with other projects and MMs would / will take care of these guys.
Question remains. Who is the greater fool? Us or them ?
