You are seriously wrong. We all owe our greatest thanks to Mr. Greenspan who is one of the key persons that are credited for the booming of our economy. The bull market in the US has been lasted for almost a decade now. Without him to trigger the healthy correction of the market at the necessary moment, your investment will worth no more than the money you put in. Believe me, we need Mr. Greenspan. The economical crisis last year happened in Russia, Asia, and south America last year were all due to the same problem. They were lacking of having an independent good and powerful person to control their monetary system.

Frank re: . Take a look
at your portfolio today. Are you not completely disgusted with the antics over and over
again:

I don't think you need to get so upset with events that happen like this. Yes, if I take a look at my portfolio it certainly did take a big hit today. But if I compare it to the beginning of the year, I've still done very well. My guess is you probably have too. Maybe just keep an eye on some stocks you may want to buy, and when they get cheap enough, take advantage of Greenspan's ramblings.

Good luck,

Ian

You said it well. My portfolio today got slammed again. Let the investors/traders handle the market. We're all big boys and girls. We can handle it.

History has shown when one element attempts to dictate the financial markets, that one element eventually gets eliminated by default. His influence will eventually become more like the boy who cried wolf too often.

There has been no change in the amount I put into my retirement account every month. Eventually, liquidity wins out.

Sabre!

wELL, THIS THREAT WILL BE ON AND ON FOR THE MONTHS TO COME, EVERY MONTH THE AG WILL SPEAK !!!! tHIS IS A ONE MAN CONTROLLED MARKET , WHICH IS QUITE DIFFERENT THAN I UNDERSTAND WHAT A FREE MARKET IS ALL ABOUT. IT IS HARD TO IMAGINE , OUR MARKET IS NOW FAR FROM THE FUNDAMENTALS, THE FEDERAL OFFICIALS TALKED ABOUT THE STOCK MARKET, THE ANALYSTS TALKED ABOUT THE STOCK MARKET...ETC.
