And for that simple reason SUN's PE is about 1.5 times that of average
S&P 500. IMO, the earnings and rev growth is very good. They could have come in with higher EPS given the rev nos., but probably booked higher expenses this qtr. We should be in a trading range (high 60s low 70s) if the market stabilizes. In any case I don't see much downside from these levels.

Any word on the CC.

After market close, SUN MICROSYSTEMS INC reported 4Q pro forma EPS of $0.48 vs $0.37 in the prior
year period, on revenues of $3.51 bln vs $2.88 bln. Analysts' mean estimates were $0.46, according to
First Call. FY EPS were $1.27. NOTE: The above pro forma amounts have been adjusted to eliminate
acquisition-related charges of $14.1 million, $120.7 million, and $176.4 million for in-process R&D and
