NW -- The only STUPID thing uttered was toward the end... the guy from AP should be working for A&P Tea Co... what a fool!

<<"I'm feeling rather good about my large Compaq position today.">> Not yet,,, ask me at 38 1/2,,, at this point we are 10000% certain he can talk the talk... I'll be watching the walk..... Sounds great-- but actions are better than pictures and a picture is worth a thousand words..

The street KNEW and we tanked,,, biggest $$ and % loss of mine AGAIN today... he needs a chance and NOT a week or two,, about 30 days LOL as he has been running it for 2 months already..

Night Writer. Re: "I don't see how the street could not like MC at this point." When the trend is negative, WS will find a way. I think it's ironic that people are praising the HP choice of someone who 1) knows virtually nothing about the business and 2) Will face some internal skepticism and lack of cooperation from those who thought he/she should have been chosen.

Instead they are focusing on MC's position as an "insider", which is not really true in the sense that he does not have any "equity" in the previous regime's decisions nor did he participate in putting the company in the mess it's in.

Go figure.
