Just think of other instances were all were thinking the sky is the limit like 1987 for example. No hostilities nothing nada just overvaluation. 1973 and 1991 you can blame the fall on hostilities.

Aside Fidelity is preparing it's fund investors to an average 8% earning growth and return to the mean in market growth.

Now lets make some little calculations were the market should be a year from now if it is growing at 8% to 10% a year let say from 1995?? SPX was 460 and NAZ was 750 during the first week of 1995.

So by Fidelity calculation the NAZ should average to the mean in 2000 to around 1200 or 1300 by 2001. A far cry from your assumption of 1800 being to low. <GG>

BTW do not tell me that those justifying AMZN stock price of $200 are knowlegeble. So how come AMZN is below 110 today?? <GG> THEY ARE PLAIN CLUELESS OR WORST SPECULATORS
