MD - This is the very LAST time this SOB pulls my financial pants down I agree. He's doen it time after time and we should I suppose just say thank you and take the buying ops that he creates. I'd like us to set up a "G Watch" . Sort of a bit like a hurrican watch but to warn us on this thread whenever old G is going to talk to people and spew his venom on the markets. I will agree to post whatever info I see around concerning his relevant dates and to warn the thread accordingly a day or so before each occasion and remind the thread and myself of the consequences of doing nothing ahead of one of his speeches. If other did the same we could help eachother a great deal. Best regards, L

I did not listen to his comments, but from the reaction in the market and from others, what he had to say didn't help. Yes, you have a right to be upset. As long as people allow their perceptions to be changed by one person, then we are all at their mercy. A very wise man taught me that corps. and the market don't care what the govt. does as long as it leaves them alone. Govt. is under pressure to do something, anything, no matter the situation. They are classic for fixing what is not broken. Take heart that what he says is just that, words. I just wish that everyone would get as upset about taxes. Their influence is 10X greater than Greenspans words.
