Hi John, I am not taking side here, just want to say some fact, hope I am not getting myself into some lengthy debate. After VersaTel get their money, they probably will go out and shop for more equipment from Cisco and Lucent, spend some money on Corning optic fibre, etc. There are a lot of foreign countries buying our stocks listed in US, and they also buy a lot of US government bonds. A prosperous Europe means a healthy US export. A prosperous world economy and a stable world political environment not only good for them, we also benefit a lot too.
