John, i agree with this. emerging market spreads are back to panic level as well - so there is fear in the bond markets and complacency in the stock market, a deadly combination.

Wow -- we're melting as I write this. Spreads gapping out another 5 bps at the open. Swap and agency spreads are now at 10-year wides. Uuuuuugly. One bright note: Emerging markets are holding in ok, as they have all week.
