george,

i also do not condone "the flaming" of mr. harmon(btw--im a paying member of his newsletter) by jonas, but i do empathize with him...while i respect steves opinions as he has proven to be quite knowledgable in the inet realm, i too think steve should give us an analysis of this company...many have asked for it and i have seen him comment on alot of other lesser companies...softbank has more potential than any other company out there to GLOBALLY dominate the internet space IMO....they own stakes in over 100 inet companies ... they have invested 1.7 B dollars so far and just their stake in yahoo alone is worth over 10B....i too do not understand how softbanks small position in webvan places them at risk from amazon...if webvan went bankrupt in 3 yrs, it wouldnt affect softbank one bit...the market cap. of softbank is already 20B....and when softbank starts nasdaq japan, the barriers to economic globalization in japan will be taken down quickly....i do think it will take an ADR before the masses here in the US will truly appreciate softbank....jmho.
