It is not jealousy. It is irreverence. They are completely different. Not everyone appreciates the irreverent - thank God- it would be no fun if there weren't a certain amount of disapproval.

The Washington Post recently ran a lengthy article on the computer programmers responsible for the Y2K bug. They are still alive, although elderly, and living in the Washington metro area, believe it or not. I think if you're having a Y2K party, you ought to ask them, I bet no one else will.

As for the millennial party, according to those who know, that's next year. This year is the odometer party.
