Just saw this on the Ballard site

"Ballard's Mission Statement

We will be the First, Best, Highest Quality,
and Lowest Cost Manufacturer of PEM Fuel Cells,
creating investment value."

Good thing they added "PEM"

:)

I am disappointed with the market reaction to this release. It shows that either this information was known by a large segment of the market before the release, or that the market is waiting to see how this technology can be applied (Ie how can it be used to make money). What we now need to see from GLE, is some huge Purchase orders. I believe we will be seeing some real $$$$ announcements in the next week or two. We can safely assume that most of the big players are as positioned as they are going to be. This release may push a few of the slow-pokes into position real soon. You can assume that any of the big boys who were accumulating earlier, knew to get their money into the pot before this announcement. Announcements like this tend to make all players large and small hold their positions a little tighter. If there is no major company that has ALREADY signed an agreement to distribute SOFC's for GLE, wouldn't a release like today's make some of the bidder(s) up the ante a little, and get the deal done ASAP? AND, if there already is such a suitor, wouldn't that be made public soon? This announcement may force GLE's hand. A win win situation for us. I am sure that the distributor or potential distributor is chomping at the bit to set up the infrastructure to include the SOFC in its product line. I guess what I am trying to say, is that some of these pieces are coming into place to make a clearer picture in a real hurry.

I figured after today (I love it when the stock gaps!) that I could finally buck up the $60 and join a decent GLE group. I posted to stockhouse a few time but there is no comparison to you guys at SI. A birdie told me a few weeks ago that there was a financing lined up with Sprott as the lead and Canaccord as selling group. I think that this breakthrough in technology would basically kill any need to finance with a brokerage firm. Any partner they bring in (Delphi) is going to have to bring their wallet to the party. I realize that a previous news release states that Delphi will be the partner on the fuel cell program, but does this include the stationary cells? If I was GlobalTE I would try to align myself with somebody else for the stationary power side of the business (GE or maybe Carrier?) What's the date of that AGM again? Whahoo! Ride 'em cowboy!
