Thanks, Justa, but it doesn't matter, it's become a favorite game among some people like Cramer who are looking for things to say. "Oh look, Seagate owns 41% of Veritas, 23% of Sandisk, 20% of Gadzooks, and 38% of Dragon Systems, and if you add up what each part is worth, you're getting the disk drive business for free" or sometimes, depending on how Dragon is valued which is tricky since it's still private, "you're getting paid to own the disk drive business (but some people say not getting paid enough, hehehe)". Cramer has been in and out of this stock a few times over the years, so it's a natural column for him to do. It's far from original. s.
