You're making me blush.

I'm just trying to raise my basis <g>. The last time I calculated, it averaged just under $20/share.

What amazes me is that, after splits and selling off some shares along the way, the original 300 shares I bought on 10/25/90 for just under $5K are now 1900 shares worth around $127K. I can't help being pleased with performance like that.

Happily, I've bought many more shares of SUNW since those original 300, especially including many around Christmas, 1996, at a split adjusted price of about $14/share, at a time when there were many and loud predictions of Sun's imminent demise here on SI.

SUNW has treated me very well, and I see no indication it will fail to do so in the future, as long as one takes the long view.

JMHO, as always, and not investment advice.
