What perspective? I still remember dead celeb jokes from years ago - They were funny the day after, they are still funny. I don't see the diff. What kind of connection do I have with any of these people? What do they represent? Excess? The triumph of vacuity and a pretty face over actual endeavor? Whatever it is they are- it isn't like making fun of Mother Theresa (although that is actually fine with me too- no sacred cows- only sacred hamburgers).

Our opinions differ- I can't quite make out what yours is, given the time dimension. It seems clear to me that some people don't see any humor in death at all- which is fine for them- but the rest of us do not need to live that way. Silly lectures by sanctimonious people, bring no added dimension to this debate- which has not actually been a debate, just a silly scolding so far.

Kennedy question: Anyone know if an autopsy was done on the pilot? Not much time between recovery and cremation/burial. I personally hate conspiracy theories but have to wonder about Kennedy "clout" in play if no medical examination of remains.

Melinda -- don't think you want any part of Coug's millennium gig -- he's only inviting dead people (except Ali, who speaks about as clearly as the average dead person).
