Herm

I'm Honored. My words on puts are yours to use.

Anybody got a clue what direction IBM is going to go tomorrow? I feel like my 5 aug130 Calls are the mother of all vipers right now.

I sure do like my GTW puts though. Sort of eases some of the big blues.

IBM will come back...won't it? There is a God...isn't there?

Herm and all,

To anyone wondering what the value of protective puts are in CC positions, watch the open on SNRS this morning. Take a look at the prices for the puts before yesterday and what they will be worth today, ATM, ITM, or OTM.
I had a position which I closed out at breakeven a few weeks ago. If it were still open the day before yesterday (stock halted yesterday for FDA meeting), then I would have bought some of that insurance and would be happy I did.

This is just an example to watch, because you never know.

Regards
Barry
