OT Agree with you 100% about taxes.

Hey! You Americans have no idea what high taxes are! Top marginal rate on income here is 53% and kicks in around 60,000-70,000. Top marginal rate on capital gains is 40% and no discount if you hold for 12 months, 18 months, whatever. If you do quite a bit of trading and get audited, you lose your capital gains treatment of market gains and it becomes income instead, ie., taxed at 53% rate. Mortgage interest is not deductible.
