But, still it is a small percentage of the entire market, and platforms like Sony's Playstation II (which might be the most promising platform for Rambus) will likely be direct competition for these "game machines" The problem with Rambus IMHO..is for most users, the price mark-up isn't justified presently in the performance gained, and as stated earlier tonight and is a VERY VALID point. The extra cost would be better spent on MORE RAM vs faster RAM..considering how Windows uses RAM! Again, I think Rambus WILL be a success, just not as soon and maybe not as much of one as many here and the present stock price seem to think it will. More importantly, these doubts posted by many here whether bias or not, will continue to haunt this stock for a LONG time IMHO. That is one of the main reasons I prefer the trade vs the investment. BTW.. REH has certainly become quiet in recent weeks??? Funny considering for a long time he was the head Rambus cheerleader??? REH, have you changed your opinion?? regards Don
