Agree!..............................

I too have been selling on Ebay. I've run about 500 auctions since January of this year. I've looked at some of the other auction sites, and they just don't get the $$$ for the products, which means they just don't have the traffic

Ebay's had some problems with their equipment, but people spend a lot of time on the site and the site gets overloaded. Take Yahoo for example. Sure millions of people use yahoo as a search engine, but you do a search and then click a link and go elsewhere. With Ebay you can get lost looking around for what you want and looking at what other people are buying and selling.

Ebay's too big and they are going to make too much money. Remember about 2 years ago when AOL had their equipment problems and people were getting busy signals all the time? Well AOL corrected those problems and you never get a busy signal now. Ebay too will correct their problems.

Doug --EBAY is on my radar screen as it nears 2.5 mil auctions-not bad # going into Mondays earnings . Also I predict 6 cents with 40 % growth. I can't believe how Ebay stock is punished for the .3 % downtime this qrt.

Great post, Doug. Thanks for your personal experience. It's what I've been visualizing, but one thing I hadn't been thinking about is the motivation for people to return.
