Limtex--Gee, I am a Greenspan fan. With dozens of dot com companies selling at multiples of sales when their prospects of ever having a profit are slim indeed, it is in our best interest to break the bubble a little every month rather than risk a bug fall. It is of such stuff that international depressions are made and, yes, wars are made. The past is prologue to the future and those who would ignore the past are doomed commit its errors once again. The so called prosperity paradigm we have enjoyed since 1992 has been a marvel. That it happened is apparently due to a convergence of factors unpresidented in this century--maturing baby boomers, efficiency from computerization and marvelous software, bio tech, information tech. SPOILED CHILDREN or anyone who have only success don't learn much from success. Bad things can happen to the economy. Greenspan has seen enough cycles to realize this. Many of those posting on this board project the air of an invinceable economy--which it isn't.
