KAA,

From my perspective Capellas seems to be a GOOD choice for CEO. He's energetic, has ideas, seems honest and is not afraid to make decisions quickly and hopefully correctly.

Yet: (1) he is unknown and unproven and a surprise to WS and FMs. Therefore, it may take some time for him to prove his value, and (2) CPQ is currently percieved to be in turmoil and under significant competitive pressure.

I think the focus of WS/FMs will be on the much needed 8/15 Positioning and Rationalization Plan discussed during Capella's introduction conference yesterday.

In the meantime with CPQ's industry leadership, technology and potential I believe CPQ's price should only go slightly (maybe a bit more) higher.

There is a possibility that WS/FMs will use this interim period prior to 8/15 as an opportunity to begin buying CPQ while keeping a public wait-and-see attitude. I would not even be surprised to see CPQ @ 30ish just after next week's earnings release and cc.

As a fact ... we all knew/know that CPQ has problems/challenges .... they are NOT insurrmountable ... Capellas, if the right guy (and I think he might just be perfect), IS up and running already to address and solve them .... time will tell !

JMHO
