Lucent simply can not hold any gains. Now back to unchanged. Still a lot of sellers.

I think CEO did a good job this morning trying to clean up the mess he made of confernce call, hwoever it is unfortunately too late, selling momemtum has already set in.

Chip, If all things are well, then why did LU guide analysts lower for the quarter of Dec99? Did McGinn make any comments as to why LU did that? I believe that's the main reason that spooked the market. I am very long LU. Thanks,
