Re Isn't gold simply just another commodity? Richard, I dunno ... Have you seen any banks with copper, zinc or oil in their vaults? Also, I don't remember many Kosovo refugees hauling cartloads of commodities behind their tractors? ... But quite a few had gold stolen from them. < vbg > John

OK, remember when they first brought charges for impeachment against Clinton? gold boomed. Rubin stepping our with each rumor a gold move and retracement. Someone said the more things change, the more they remain the same. Is it possible that as "gold is now dead" it will return to it's exact prior position of security? I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but now everyone will admit I was right when I first said POG was being manipulated.
