re: The stock is in the doldrums. I hope they seriously wake up and address the various issues facing the company such as the cable access, free ISP, etc.

What the hell roger they are doing just that. Market wide sediment has changed, AOL management is doing a fine job, it's the market that is playing games.

Gosh Roger, I think the company is doing some pretty slick things. There's an announcement or two virtually every day about how they are expanding the business...they seem pretty visionary. Although I am sure the company management....who own a heck of a lot more stock then you and I would ever hope to own...would like to see the stock move up, they know there are things that they absolutely cannot control...and one is the time that buyers decide to buy. Let management manage. Sales, profits, and then the stock price will eventually reflect how the company is perceived. Over the short haul, no conclusions can be drawn. As a friend of ours on this thread recently said, unless you are a day trader, the daily movement of the stock, although very bothersome when the price falls, should not be of over-riding concern. Where the stock is in six months is much more of an issue.

Continued good wishes...

Elliot
