ahhhh...noooooo....but do have some sympathy for the viewers (of that opinion)...:(

still staying with my analysis...that we need to break that prior low of last year for the xau index....although...as i previously posted this cycle for the xau is getting very "long in the tooth"....gold bullion did reach my target back in may-june but the xau still has to put in one more downer before this bear is well cooked....:(

There may be something to it - many financial uncertainties -disasters even - in the offing - so if gold doesn't move now, then when? Also the anti-IMF gold sale sentiment in Congress may mark a major turning point and re-focus attention on gold as the true reserve asset. Central bankers have been playing fast and loose with gold - at least some have - we tend to forget that most have not sold, though most may have been leasing. EDIT - of course I'm talking about fundamental things and sentiment - not TA - but I've noticed some TA comments here display more than a teaspoonfull of wishful thinking? d
