We might be looking at circular arguments if they happen to be readers of this thread <g> (at times I wonder that the entire world might be reading this thread <G>). I wish they had posted a source for their rumors, but that would probably violate some confidentiality.

Given that absolutely no one on this thread disagrees that RDRAM is good for video memory, I've assumed as well that the Nintendo system would use RDRAM. The specs that have been published officially match RDRAM and the granularity (16M/32M) indicate that it couldn't be a competitive format. Plus they already have a relationship. I think we're there.
