>>Be careful with your shorts.

I certainly will. My AMZN and YHOO shorts are fluctuating in and out of the red as I write - while CMGI is clearly in the red (up a point from where I shorted). I thought the market would open higher this morning to much greater degree than it did - and I was planning to wait until prices got much higher to look at shorting. But then prices started coming down - so I shorted anyway, at perhaps not the best points. However, even if things may be "oversold", I'm not convinced it's "temporary" - I think there is room for AMZN and YHOO to go down further. Of course, I have been of this opinion at various points in time in the past - and have been absolutely wrong. It actually looks as though the market may not move much in either direction today - and as such I'll be faced with the dilemma of whether to hold my shorts through to Monday.

Thanks,
-Eric Wells
